Snowboarding in Japan, whats it like? Where to go?



Snowboarding in Japan is a hugely underrated, with those aware of its incredible offerings coming from far and wide to experience the great snow conditions. Japan is a great alternative for those looking for a completely different culture change.

Alternatively Japan is much closer for those coming from New Zealand/ Australia then European and American resorts.

Japan's resorts are split into four regions these are:

Hokkaido, Tohoki, Joetsu and Shinetsu


Japan is known for its smaller sized resorts with amazing powder, the country recieves excellent snowfalls, its also renown for a destination to recieve a polite and welcome from the locals with cheap food and drink availble. Alsonight boarding is common with resorts staying open late.
